In July 2006 former Ksubi designers Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan began their own label Bassike. Initially the label offered cotton jersey wardrobe staples but by the end of 2008, Bassike were committed to ensuring all their cotton jersey pieces were 100% certified organic.
