Hiroshi Kato founded the brand Kato in 1999 using traditional Japanese textiles to produce a high quality denim collection.
Organic Zimbabwe cotton is featured throughout the collection, whilst the indigo is sourced from producers who ferment twice harvested indigo underground in pots for 25 years.

Kato One Wash Jacket. Using a jacket owned by Mr.K, Kato has recreated the wear and whiskers of ten year old denim.
Kato Slim Straight Leg Denim. Slim straight leg 5 pocket washed denim with yellow and orange contrast stitch trim. Rivets are unembellished copper, fly buttons are embossed. Back threads are purposely left loose.
Kato Back Flap Pocket Denim. One wash straight leg denim with contrasting orange stitch trim. Fly fastens with embossed Kato buttons, rivets are copper and plain, back right hand pocket fastens with a blue button. These are great, simple, brilliant jeans.
