Jaeger has just released its Autumn/ Winter 2010 collection for men, and the key theme is Modern tradition, inspired by the tailor Tommy Nutter, known for combining traditional tailoring skills with innovative designs. This philosophy results in updated versions of classic menswear pieces whilst drawing on Jaeger’s own traditional tailoring heritage.

A key piece is the new version of the puffer jacket, a look more commonly associated with casual wear. However, cut from black wool, this padded coat becomes a sophisticated outerwear option.

Similarly, a classic grey blazer has been re–imagined in wool jersey, offering a less formal take on the separate jacket. In addition, a black and white Donegal fleck tweed is cut into a sharp blazer, while the classic trench is rendered in lightweight nylon.
