‘And the beat goes on…’ is the tag line for the new Autumn / Winter 2010 collection for men by Ben Sherman.
The collection sees reworked classics resulting in pieces with true style. Given the Ben Sherman touch, this style launches itself into modern day fashion through fit and colour. Garment dyed Macs nod to the authentic detailing that runs throughout Ben Sherman menswear.
Re-enforcing the inspiration and Beatnik creativity, traditional fabrics are purposefully and intelligently misplaced, as outerwear canvases are used as trouser fabrics and workwear fabrics are the basis of shirt style jackets with exposed hard-wear.
Shirting continues this season with the hero piece being fully reversible in a herringbone and gingham overcheck. Chambrays and denim are introduced as key fabrics while vintage inspired checks are off set with laundered stripes on slim fitting styles featuring western influence or military detailing.
